Easter Party Ideas – Put Yourself In Their Shoes For A Day
The excitement starts building up way before the actual date when young and old get their fair share of the candy loot. Easter Party Ideas are in abundance because when it comes to children, chocolate and fun, you just cannot help but plan a spectacular few hours.
Why not consider having a pre-Easter egg decorating party at your home. Get your children to invite some of their friends over and divide them into teams. Give each team a theme to work from like maybe making farm animals – piggy, horsey, chicken and goat. Or you could let another team make their favorite cartoon characters. Give the little ones hard boiled eggs to decorate because you don’t want egg yoke spilling out everywhere.
The work space should be ample because they will be gluing and cutting materials like pipe cleaners, toilet rolls, scraps of material, cotton wool and anything else you found around your sewing room which they can use. The older children will of course love to blow out the egg yoke and paint their favorite rock star or super hero with glitter, beads and sequined.
Another fun activity is to get a whole lot of jelly beans. Give each child a color to choose from and get them to follow the trail which you had set up the previous night. Give them some words in a plastic egg at a few pit stops, which will spell out a sentence. Once they are back at base with all their plastic eggs, then only are they allowed to have their Easter basket filled to the brim with goodies.
Children love boundaries, so give them a color boundary to work from. Hide eggs which are color coded before-hand and get them to search only for their color. Here you could let the little ones go first so the older children will not be disappointed to find toys that are not in their age group. Easter Party Ideas are fun to think out, just put yourself in a child’s shoes and see all the ideas you come up with.
